Product Overview

The Electrolyte Retention Test Machine is designed and manufactured in accordance with IEC 60095-1:2018 "Lead-acid starter batteries - Part 1: General requirements and methods of test", Clause 9.9. This equipment verifies whether electrolyte leakage occurs when a lead-acid starter battery is subjected to tilting in different orientations.

The system automatically completes a full test cycle including four-direction tilting, holding time, and reset. It is suitable for EU certification testing, R&D verification, and quality inspection applications.

Structure and Features
  • PLC control with touchscreen operation - parameters can be set and system runs automatically with one-key start
  • Servo motor drives the rotary platform to achieve precise positioning at four 90° positions
  • Pneumatic cylinder drives the tilting platform with mechanical horizontal limit, enabling fast switching between 0° and 45° positions
Test Principle and Process

The servo motor drives the platform to rotate 90° each time, allowing the battery sample to be tested in four different orientations. The pneumatic cylinder quickly drives the tilting platform to switch between 0° and 45° positions.
